Piano Lessons Wolverhampton

Piano lessons cost £15 for 30mins and cover styles from Classical, Modern to Jazz. Students are taught on (real acoustic pianos) in our 2 piano suites in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. The ideal age to start learning to play the piano is normally about 7yrs although this depends on the child and their level of maturity.  Starting the piano from scratch as an adult can be a challenge but it can be very rewarding. Piano examinations on are taken with the ABRSM.

                                                  Stephen Barratt (BA music. Hons)

Stephen offers one-to-one piano lessons based on a very efficient teaching technique developed from teaching at school and colleges of further education to performing with professional musicians on stage. Teaching the ABRSM syllabi to his students means he always attains a high standard and thereby ensures regular progress and enjoyment.

Another focused part of Stephen’s lessons is in the area of musical improvisation. Here he uses his vast knowledge of music and playing style to pass on to his pupils. His lessons also include ABRSM music theory Grades 1 to 5.


                                                  Daniel Relph (BA music. Hons)

Daniel offers one-to-one piano lessons to children and adults of all ages starting from 7yrs. Daniel’s students are a credit to him and often stay with him up to and including  ABRSM advanced grades in both practical and theoretical studies on the piano.

His own love of playing the piano stems back from early childhood where his teacher would be so impressed with his progress that he used Daniel to help in his own lessons when Daniel was only 12 years old! As an adult, he has worked through all his music exams gaining distinction after distinction and then on to a music degree from the Birmingham Conservatoire.

Rosemary offersIMG_0464 one-to-one Piano and Saxophone lessons to children and adults of all ages starting from 7yrs. Tutoring students up to Grade 8 on both classical instruments, Rosemary is one of our specialist multi-instrumentalists who enjoys teaching the younger members of our Academy.

She has grade 8 in her respective instrument and has been teaching privately for around 5 years. Rosemary also performs in a number of music groups and thoroughly enjoys the live element of performing.
